Someone told me that they’re battling to get IBR approved, because lenders do not truly want anyone to participate in IBR program - so they’re getting the run around. Is this possible?  Is there some sort of statistic that shows how many people are currently in this plan?

It can be a pain to get all the paperwork straight, and I have often felt like not enough borrowers are getting the IBR information they can use.  I heard some early estimates of IBR use, but nothing recent.
