I think your site is invaluable. Thanks for bringing this information to the public. I have a question. I was planning to sign up for IBR based on suggestions which indicate it’s the best choice; however when I logon to my ACS account (myedaccount.com) and select “Lower My Payments” after it calculates my income and family size it indicates that the ICR monthly payment is almost 40% less than the IBR. In your experience is that even remotely possible?

You know, William, I have tried to figure out whether there are cases when ICR is lower, but I’ve had a hard time coming up with examples.  Is there something you would consider unusual about your situation?
