I direct a post-graduate service program. One of my volunteers was turned down by Wells Fargo for an application for a forbearance. I assume this is because he asked for a forbearance rather than for deferment because of “financial hardship.’ I was curious if anyone else has had this happen or if it might be due to other circumstances, most notably that he had his parents co-sign for the loan.
