I just finished watching your webinar and you mentioned that the Civil Legal Assistance Attorney Student Loan Repayment Program is closed. I was one of the applicants that was accepted into this program and who just received an employment verification.  You stated that this program may preclude me from participating in other repayment.  I know that it precludes me from participating in the public service loan forgiveness program (which requires that I make 120 payments), but would it also preclude me from participating in the NYSBA SLAPI program?

I also wonder if you have any advice for the attorney who has been in public service for over 8 years.  I am not sure I will be in public service for another 10 years, which is why I was concerned about changing my loan payment to participate in the public service loan forgiveness program.
