The Dept. of Ed approved my employer as a qualifying employer for PSLF purposes, which is great.
But I wonder, is this conclusive? The certification says after 120 payments, “a final determination for forgiveness will occur upon receipt of your application.” Does that mean the department can come back in 10 years and say, wait, your employer actually does not qualify despite the certification?
I guess the more important question is: does it say anywhere in the regulations that certification is conclusive.
Thanks for any input…
