I graduated in May 2011 and have accepted an internship with the Special Court for Sierra Leone. I am doing the internship pro bono. After reviewing the response to another individual who was asking about PSLF eligibility for intl. service, I went to the D. Ed. page and got the request form to determine whether the position qualifies, but now I am wondering whether this will be less likely in an internship role? They employment section refers only to number of hours to qualify as full time, but does not mention payment. If I’m not receiving any salary, but am working full time, will that affect my chances for PSLF?
Thanks!
Qualifying public service employment has to be full-time PAID work. An unpaid internship won’t cut it. Sorry!
