Dear Heather,

Thank you for all you do.

I currently work full time at a legal services job and my employer has certified that I work there full time.  Fedloan servicing is in the process of accounting for qualifying payments.

I also have a government contract to act as a mediator and facilitator for foreclosure cases in 4 state courts.  This job pays a lot better than my legal services job.  I am thinking about going part time at my legal services job (30 hours a week to be certified but not “full time” according to my employer).  Could I do that and have the state certify me at 5 hours a week working on their contract?  I can work 10 or more hours on the contract, but just to be conservative I would ask them for five.  Would i still qualify for loan forgiveness?
