My mother has many of my school loans (Parent Plus) and she is now ready to begin her repayment, though she is on a “fixed income”. The majority of her income is from Veteran’s Benefits from her deceased husband. On her own, her income from a less than part-time job is minimal. I cannot find any information regarding this anywhere and no one at the VA can help either. Are there any programs available to assist in repayment and can they “attach” the VA money?
