I’ve been doing quite a bit of research on PSLF/IRB over the last couple years and tell all my friends about it. I really love this site and forum!

Despite my research, I have yet to see this question directly answered anywhere, and I just want to make sure… I just received notice (in 2013) from the Dept of Education that my current job at a 501(c)(4) qualifies and my application for PSLF has been accepted. Since Oct 2007, I have previously worked at two 501(c)(3) organizations but was unaware of PSLF at the time. I was making student loan payments at the time. Is it possible to contact those previous employers, ask them to fill out the employer section of the application, and submit it to get credit for those payments under PSFL?
