Hello. My loans have defaulted and are being serviced by DOJ. The payment plan is too steep for me to pay and the attorney that works for DOJ is giving me bad advice. I want to move them back to DOE. Is there a way to do this? If I can get them serviced by DOE then I could reconsolidate, get forgiveness, and some of the other programs.
