I am a speech therapist. I hold a Teacher of Speech and Language Disabilities certification and treat students with disabilities. I applied for the Teacher Loan Forgiveness program and was denied after being accepted. Based on the requirements, that are open for interpretation I do qualify as others before me have been accepted the forgiveness for their loan after 5 years of service, as I have completed myself. I feel frustrated and want to appeal. Has anyone ever been through this or has there been any precedent set for this?
