Hello Heather,

I have a permanent part time public service (government) job and my employer considers me a part time employee. My regularly scheduled (guaranteed) shifts amount to 24 hours a week but there are months where I pick up shifts to work 40 hours a week. Permanent full time employees at my agency are expected to work and are guaranteed 40 hours a week. My question is do payments I make in a month where I work 40 hours every week qualify me as having begun my 120 months?

Also, you have pointed out that 2 jobs totaling 30 hours can qualify as full time. Can one of these be an unpaid internship? How about a paid one?
