It’s time for me to renew my IBR (it’s just been a year for me) and I am wondering if I need to report my AGI. I did not file taxes for 2013 because I did not have any income. Recently I have been working part time, about 10 hours/week. My income is not taxable because it’s less than the minimum taxable amount. Is it necessary to report the AGI when renewing?

If you went ahead and filed your return, even though there is no tax, then they would have that information upon which to calculate the payment.  It might take a little while for your return to processed and available to your loan holder so you might want to go ahead and fax them a copy.  That’s what I did to get my 2013 return information to the loan holder.
