My wife has a student loan of 425K. She is M.D and current working as Family Medicine resident in on of the hospitals in NJ state.
Other than student loan i have home loan of ~ 220K.

My annual gross pay is 150K and my wife’s is 50K. Her pay can increase in 2.5 years after residency, can be in 175k - 250K range.

We wanted to know which repayment plan is good for us?
Shall we file tax returns separately is ideal for us?
Can you please tell us what are the pro and cons of each programs.
