So i attended culinary school in 2011 and graduated in earlier 2012. Right around the time i graduated lawsuits started to begin about le cordon bleu for a number of reasons, i never paid to close attention simple because i was already done and gone by this point. I recently ran into a friend who i attend culinary school with and was told he was part of the class action lawsuit that occurred and was able to get more then half his student loans forgiven/pay backed by the state. With it being 2015 i tried looking into it but couldnt find any resources online that were recent, and only dug up online information from 2013. Im wondering if this is still an option for me and who i would have to contact.

Would i reach out to the state or through the company i took my loans out from (Great Lakes). Im really curious simple because not only about the lawsuit that occurred, but now with all the school shutting down in the US, im wondering if i can get my loans forgiven.
