Is there anyone dealing with this issue that has found a solution? I have an ex that has student loans consolidated with mine. I would not qualify with her income. She is not my SPOUSE anymore. My credit was impacted greatly before I applied for deferment. It will be again when that runs out this fall. I cant make her portion of the payment assigned by the decree.

I would love it if someone could point me in the right direction to who to communicate with (my congressman?), what to say and what resources are out there for my situation. I think it is more common than would be assumed.

Has anyone been able to qualify for PSLF on a FFEL consolidated loan with an ex-spouse?
