Heather,

I’ve been teaching for the past 8 years (since 2008). Began taking student loans in ‘93. Graduated with a business degree in ‘99. Back to school around 2005 to be a teacher. Masters in 2014. Loans for all. Consolidated all the loans throughout the years. Wife (still married) consolidated hers and mine together (she’s in private industry). I have 3 years as a teacher in a low-income district, receiving Title 1 funding, currently in that district now. Teacher cancellation covers Perkins loans (so I’ve read), but I’m wondering about Forgiveness with these circumstances. I’m thinking because they’ve all been consolidated and the loan from ‘93 supposedly supersedes all the rest I’m out of luck. Any ideas? Please…
