Reversal of Employer Certification
Hello everyone,
I’ve been having a slew of problems with PSLF through FedLoan. I’m going to create two posts to keep the issues separate, but if you also have issues with qualifying payments, check out the other one!
In May 2015, I received a letter stated my employer (a 501(3)(c)) qualified for PSLF. In April 2016, I received a reversal letter saying that my employer did not qualify and it was an error. After a LOT of back and forth, I received a new letter stated my employer qualifies. However, that same week I also received a letter saying that my application couldn’t be processed due to a missing EIN number. The number was not missing and is on the copy of the form I saved.
Literally, every step of the way with Fed Loan, there have been major problems with my PSLF application, employment status, and qualifying payments.
Has anyone else encountered issues with their employer certification?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
