I have been teaching in a Title I school for ten consecutive years. If I apply for PSLF, would any of my previous made be counted?

To receive PSLF, you must make 120 on-time, full, scheduled, separate monthly payments on your Direct Loans under a qualifying repayment plan after October 1, 2007. So the earliest that you may qualify is this October. If you you want to see if your payments since 2007 qualify you just need to submit an employment verification form to Fed Loan Servicing and they will tell you exactly how many qualifying payments you have made and how many you have left. I would also suggest you do this ASAP with the way things are going politically at the moment!
