I was talking to a coworker today who said they didn’t opt for income based repayment (to ultimately qualify for PSLF) because you “couldn’t be a supervisor” and qualify. She wasn’t sure if you couldn’t qualify for income based repayment or PSLF. Either way I do seem to remember somewhere reading something about not qualifying if you’re in certain highly paid positions. However I don’t remember where I saw it and now i can’t find it. Is there a limit? I work in government and I am decently paid but I need to know if accepting a higher position would ever disqualify me either due to title or income. Can anyone point me to more specific information on this?
