Department of Education listens to stakeholders’ concerns

Just finished a productive meeting with the Department of Education’s Public Service Loan Forgiveness Working Group.  The group included members of the Office of the Undersecretary, the Office of Postsecondary Education, and Federal Student Aid.  The team at the Department of Education has been working hard to develop an employment certification form and application for forgiveness.

I commend the Department of Education for inviting input from me and other concerned stakeholders and look forward to continuing the conversation in order to make the process friendly for borrowers.
