Underutilized Options Could Ease Student Loan Crisis



As many of you who follow our blog know, the student loan repayment system is overly complicated.  Heather has dedicated her professional life to trying to make sense of the stacks upon stacks of legislation, sometimes arcane student loan laws, and overly cumbersome student loan repayment eligibility requirements to translate them into more user-friendly forms that student loan borrowers can understand.  While there certainly could be more and better student loan repayment assistance and education programs implemented in the future, the current student loan repayment programs are underutilized.  Danielle Kurtzleben, reporting for US News & World Report, recently interviewed Heather and other experts in the field to help raise awareness for this critical issue.
